Gemini Dance Studios – Class Definitions

Absolute Beginners Classes
A class for people who have never done any of this type of dancing before or anyone who has forgotten the basic steps.

Stage 2 Classes
This class is for people who have done the beginners class and wish to continue to improve and learn more.

Stage 3 Classes
This class is for people who have done one or two terms and wish to continue.

Continuation Classes
These classes are for people who have been dancing for roughly 12 months, each class will vary slightly as dictated by the people in it, so it is advisable to discuss with a member of staff as to which class to attend.

Improver Classes
These classes are for people who have been dancing for 1 – 3 years, each class will vary slightly so it is advisable to discuss with a member of staff as to which class to attend.

Intermediate/Advanced Classes
A class for more experienced dancers (at least 3 years experience), each class is different therefore, please contact Chris before joining one of these classes.

Variation Classes
These classes are for people who have been dancing for a number of years and want to learn a new variation to add interest to each dance. All ballroom and Latin dances are covered in these classes.

Technique Classes
The content of these classes is aimed at anyone from stage 2 upwards who wants to improve their technique of the dances being covered. A list of work to be covered in each class will be given at time of advertising.

Anyone wishing to do more than one class should discuss with Chris which classes would give them what they require. If you are unsure as to which class is for you then please ask.

Please note I ask for 24 hours notice of cancellation of private lessons, otherwise the lesson must be paid for. Please cancel directly with the person you have your lesson booked with. Do not cancel by email. Make sure when you book your first private lesson you exchange phone numbers.
